Tandem Skydive
The Ultimate Intro to Skydiving Experience. Reach Freefall speed of 200km/h freefalling from 10,000ft (3050m) while securely attached to a qualified Tandem Instructor.

Solo Skydive-S/L
Become a Certified Skydiver by attending THE Solo Parachute course designed to teach you everything you need to know to leap from an aircraft.

Age
The minimum is 16 years. Under 18 years, requires a parent or guardian to sign permission.

Medical
You must let us know of any previous injuries; any surgery; any medical condition you suffer from; any medication you are on. Over 50s require a doctors certificate of fitness. Guidelines can be supplied to your doctor. Disabilities, visual, aural or other physical impairment do not rule out a Tandem Jump.

Location
Silvermines, close to Nenagh, off Dublin to Limerick road.

Cost
The minimum sponsorship to be raised is €640 for Tandem Jump from 10,000 ft. strapped to instructor.
Certificate signed by Tandem Master. Insurance cover is extra, arranged on the day. Conditions apply and subject to weather.

Climb Kilimanjaro & Visit Our Projects

Climb Kilimanjaro and help with fundraising and development projects that alleviate poverty. We would like you to see the benefits of your fundraising and the great potential of cities like Nairobi. Thus your trip will include a number of days either side of climbing Kilimanjaro in both Kenya and Tanzania. We hope you will take the message home of how others can help. You will need to raise €5000 to fund your trip.

Kilimanjaro The Roof of Africa….a snow covered summit on                                                               the equator.

ITINERARY:

  • Day 1: Fly to Nairobi.
  • Day 2: Visit Projects in Nairobi and see the benefits of your fundraising.
  • Day 3: Visit Projects then go sightseeing and do some shopping.
  • Day 4: Bus trip across Kenya and Tanzania to Moshi through the beautiful African countryside with a chance to see the wildlife. Overnight in Moshi Hotel
  • Day 5: to Day 10: See Mountain Itinerary.
  • Day 10: After your final descent you will return in the after noon to your Moshi hotel for that longed for shower and soft bed!
  • Day 11: Return by bus to Nairoi across the African savannas of Tanzania and Kenya to your Nairobi Hotel. A celebration meal that evening in the famous Carnivore restaurant in Karen.
  • Day 12: Relax in Nairobi before catching the flight home.

A Cycle for All….Cycle at Your Own Pace in Your Own Time
Enjoy a Beautiful Cycle and Raise Sponsorship. Your help is needed to support the aids orphans and street children of Africa. Cycle the Waterfront for 25 miles on Sunday 4th March 2012.

The Cork Harbour Cycle is now reorganised for Sunday 4th of March. Please register by emailing name, postal address and phone number to corkcycle@gmail.com.

Sponsorship You will be given a sponsor card. Get your friends & family to sponsor you. Fifty sponsors at €2 each will raise €100.  Organise a fundraising coffee morning, party, darts night.  Ask friends to donate any coins in jars at home. Raffle a Christmas cake.

The route is flat along the waterfront.

10 miles / hour is easy enough, 2.5 hours to finish.
